Looking for the Best Functional Medicine Doctors in Denver?
Rated 5.0 across more than 230 Google reviews. Here is exactly what to compare before you hand any clinic your health, and how we measure up.
5.0 stars, 230+ Google reviews
Very few clinics in the south Denver metro carry a rating like that at that volume. It is the single clearest signal of what working with us is actually like, and it comes from patients who were told for years that their labs looked fine.
Read patient storiesFive questions to ask any Denver clinic
- 1. What do you test before you build my plan? If the answer is a basic blood panel, the plan is a guess.
- 2. How many markers does that panel report? Most of ours report more than twenty, and several run well over a hundred.
- 3. Do you retest? Without a retest, nobody knows whether the plan worked.
- 4. Who reads my results with me? You should leave understanding the pattern, not holding a PDF.
- 5. What do long term patients say? Ratings at volume beat a handful of glowing quotes.

Common questions
How do I choose the best functional wellness clinic in Denver?
Look at three things. First, what they actually test, because a clinic that runs a single blood panel is guessing. Second, whether they retest to prove the plan worked. Third, what patients say after six months, not after the first visit. We run panels that report more than twenty markers each, we retest, and we hold a 5.0 rating across more than 230 Google reviews.
What makes The Wellness Way Centennial different from other Denver functional medicine clinics?
We do not guess, we test. Every plan starts with comprehensive lab work: full thyroid panels, hormone panels, Genova comprehensive stool analysis, food allergy testing across more than 100 foods, mycotoxin and heavy metal screening. Then we build a Health Restoration Plan from your results and retest to measure it.
Do you take insurance?
We are a cash based clinic, which is what allows us to run comprehensive panels instead of the limited set most insurers approve. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds, and financing is available through Affirm and RepeatMD.
How much does it cost to get started?
A discovery call is free. New patients can start with our $99 new patient special. Testing is quoted transparently before you commit to anything.
Do I have to live in Denver to become a patient?
No. We see patients in person at our Greenwood Village clinic and work with patients across the country virtually, with lab kits shipped directly to their homes.
Are you a medical doctor's office?
We are an independently owned and operated functional wellness clinic led by Dr. Jacqueline Berens. We do not replace your physician. We test the systems most standard visits never look at, and we are glad to work alongside your medical team.
