Can I work with The Wellness Way if I do not live in Colorado?
Yes. About half of our patients are outside the Denver metro, and many are in other states entirely. Everything except the physical adjustment happens the same way it does for a local patient: a discovery call, comprehensive lab testing with kits shipped to your home, a full results review over video, and a personalized Health Restoration Plan.
How does virtual lab testing work?
Once we decide which panels fit your history, kits are shipped directly to your home. Blood draws are done at a local draw site near you, and stool, urine and saliva collections are done at home and mailed to the lab in the prepaid packaging. Nothing requires a trip to Colorado.
Which tests can be done remotely?
Full thyroid panels with Free T3, Reverse T3 and antibodies; male and female hormone panels; the Genova comprehensive stool analysis; food allergy testing across more than 100 foods; mold and mycotoxin screening; and heavy metal and mineral testing. Most of our panels report more than twenty markers each.
How do I review my results?
On a scheduled video visit. We walk marker by marker through what came back, explain what is driving your symptoms, and then build the plan with you. You receive your full lab reports to keep.
What about supplements and follow up?
Supplements ship to your door, and follow up visits happen by video on the same schedule an in person patient would follow. We retest to confirm the plan worked rather than assuming it did.
What does virtual care cost?
The same as in clinic care. We are cash based, which is what allows us to run comprehensive panels instead of the limited set insurers approve. HSA and FSA funds are commonly used, and financing is available through Affirm and RepeatMD.
