Mold & mycotoxin testing - Denver metro

Mold and Mycotoxin Testing in Denver

Symptoms that no one can explain, that get better on vacation and worse at home, deserve a real test. We measure what mold has left behind in your body instead of guessing at it.

Why mold gets missed

Mycotoxins are not visible on a standard blood panel, so patients cycle through allergy medication, sleep studies, and anxiety prescriptions while the actual exposure continues. Colorado's dry climate leads a lot of people to rule mold out entirely, but a single past water leak, a finished basement, or a previous home is often all it takes. Testing settles the question.

Testing we use

  • · Urine mycotoxin panel
  • · Inflammatory and immune markers
  • · GI-MAP stool analysis
  • · Vibrant Gut Zoomer
  • · Food allergy panels
  • · Heavy metal testing when indicated

Symptoms we hear most

  • · Fatigue that sleep does not fix
  • · Brain fog and word-finding trouble
  • · Chronic sinus congestion and headaches
  • · Air hunger or shortness of breath
  • · Rashes, hives, and skin flares
  • · Sensitivity to smells and chemicals

Mold rarely travels alone

A body carrying a mold burden is usually also carrying gut dysfunction, food allergies, and a stressed detox pathway. Treating one and ignoring the rest is why people stall out. Our plans work all of it at once. See the full lab testing menu or read about heavy metal testing.

Common questions

How do I know if mold is behind my symptoms?

Mold illness rarely announces itself. It shows up as fatigue that sleep does not fix, brain fog, sinus congestion, headaches, air hunger, unexplained rashes, sensitivity to smells, and symptoms that improve when you leave the house and return when you come home. Testing is what separates mold exposure from the other possibilities.

What kind of mold testing do you run?

We use urine mycotoxin testing, which measures the toxic byproducts different mold species leave behind in the body rather than simply confirming mold exists in a building. We often pair it with inflammatory markers, gut testing, and food allergy panels, because mold burden and gut dysfunction usually travel together.

Is a mold inspection of my home the same thing?

No. An environmental inspection tells you what is in the building. Mycotoxin testing tells you what has gotten into you. Both matter, and remediation without addressing your body's burden usually leaves symptoms in place.

Do I have to live in Denver to be tested?

No. Our clinic is in Greenwood Village and we see patients from Centennial, Littleton, Parker, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Castle Rock, Columbine, and Stonegate in person. Patients outside Colorado work with us virtually and the mycotoxin kit ships to their home.

What happens after the results come back?

We sit down and go through every marker with you, then build a personalized Health Restoration Plan around what the labs actually show: drainage and detox pathway support, gut repair where needed, and guidance on the exposure source itself. We do not guess, we test.
